Due to the current Ebola situation, we will not be able to return to Uganda this week as originally planned 💔 Our school and orphanage are currently unaffected and continue to operate as usual. We are closely monitoring the situation and are hopeful to return to Africa as soon as it is safe to do so. We are eager to be back on the ground with our kids, and begin construction on the perimeter wall. Please keep our orphans, students, and staff in your prayers for continued health and protection.
A message from our Senior 1 students! “I want to study hard and make you proud” Term Two begins next week ✏️📚 We are so proud of these kids! Thank you for allowing them the chance to continue their education!

One month from today, we return to our orphanage and school in Uganda! Right now, our biggest need is security. The children and staff are vulnerable without a perimeter wall. ❗️Our goal is to raise $9,000 before June 3 to build a secure wall around the property to protect our orphans, students, and staff. Will you prayerfully consider partnering with us in this project? … “Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” Psalm 82:3-4

Our boys are moved into their new sleeping dormitory!! During our February visit, a piece of land and building unexpectedly became available, only a 3 minute walk from our school and orphanage. This seemed like the PERFECT opportunity to meet the need of a separate sleeping dormitory for the boys. But we hadn’t planned for this, and all funding was already allocated towards construction of the new school. Cue the miracle: That night, we stayed up praying… and without asking a single person for help, messages started coming in. One friend. Then another. By morning, the $2,500 was fully provided—and MORE. “The Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes.” Psalms‬ ‭118‬:‭23‬

💌 Check your inbox 💌 We celebrated our one year anniversary while in Uganda! Thank YOU for making this project possible! Because of your support, we have made huge advances in the education, health, nutrition, safety, and overall well-being of our orphans and students in both Uganda and Zanzibar. God has been faithful, and we are eager to share what He is doing through your generosity! Our recent Uganda trip • New School Building: Construction on our two-story school is nearly complete. In a country where education is often a luxury, 180 students now have a safe, comfortable place to learn and grow. • Boys’ Dormitory and Property: We purchased land that includes a house and outhouse to serve as a boys’ dormitory. Valued at over $9,000, it became available through foreclosure for $2,500. This opportunity was not on our radar, yet God opened the right doors at the right time. Previously, our boys and girls were sharing the dormitory we built in April. • Senior School Commitment: Our grade 7s started Senior School last week! For the next four years, they will have a safe place to live, eat, and receive education. They aged out of our school and orphanage, and we have been praying and seeking solutions. We took a step of faith in committing to this, but God immediately provided. You have already helped us reach $11,500 of the necessary $18,000 for 8 teenagers to attend school for 4 years. THANK YOU! • Health Improvements: We brought in a doctor to conduct medical and dental examinations, and the children are doing exceptionally well. With improved nutrition — including added protein — and access to clean drinking water through donated water filters, the transformation in their health and overall happiness has been remarkable, even compared to our visit in October! We keep our Instagram, very up-to-date, please follow along @the_saviour_project Or subscribe to our new YouTube channel! Sincerely, Amanda Bogen President, The Saviour Project

Meet our P7s! God has placed these eight young teenagers in our care and our goal is to send them to senior school (equivalent to American high school). They have aged out of our current school and we have prayerfully been considering options for them that would keep them safe, healthy, and educated. This group is so special and we believe are the arrows that can help change their community in time. ‼️Thus, we have committed to paying for their Senior education and trust that God will provide. If this hits your heart too, we would love to partner with you.‼️ Check out our website (linked in bio) for the option to cover Senior school for one of these kiddos. It costs about $60 usd per month to educate, feed, and board a senior student. We know God will provide because he has already shown up in HUGE ways- we’d love for you to share in the blessings 🥰
Delivering the good news that we have prayerfully decided to sponsor our P7 class to attend Senior 1 (equivalent to America high school)!!! ‼️But we need your help! We have stepped out in faith, trusting that God will provide sponsors to cover the tuition and boarding fees for our eight teenagers over the next 4 years. It costs about $60 USD a month to educate, feed, and board one student. Education is a luxury in Uganda, and most orphans and children end up on the streets, as there is no one to pay for their education. If this also touches your heart, would you consider partnering with us to help one of our teenagers attend senior school? Donation link in bio ❤️
A feast with goats and chickens to celebrate God’s faithfulness! The kids were so excited. We ate until our tummies were full!

Once construction of our new school is complete, we will use this classroom as our chicken coop! The chicken project will provide our kids with protein, and also a source of income for the school to sell the eggs. Once the hens stop laying, they can be eaten, or sold 🐓🥚🐣
Construction on the 2nd level of our new school has begun!

God has been so faithful throughout this project. We are excited to provide a safe and comfortable space for our children to learn and grow!

A very generous donor has sponsored our Zanzibar school director, Omar, to visit Uganda for a week of mentorship and discipleship!

We are blown away by how God is moving and connecting invisible strings across countries, between our two projects.
