Along the backside of the property is temporary fencing, as we plan to someday purchase the land behind us for our Senior School

Our verse of the week was Philippians 4:4
“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!”
The Bible promises that in this world we will have trouble, but we should take heart, because Jesus has overcome the world! John 16:33
Since we know that our hope is not in this earth, we can rejoice in the Lord, always, regardless of our circumstance.

The amount of excitement and energy on our campus today! This was an unplanned blessing, literally a miracle- in less than a week, you helped us raise $10,000 for the well. And we struck water on the first dig site!

Fun fact- these are the same workers who built our girl’s dormitory last April, and who constructed our two level school! We love employing the local people, and building relationships in the community.

We’ve started the perimeter wall! πͺπ§±
With an increase in trespassers and thieves at the school and orphanage, we have been eager to add some security to protect our kids.

Due to the current Ebola situation, we will not be able to return to Uganda this week as originally planned π
Our school and orphanage are currently unaffected and continue to operate as usual. We are closely monitoring the situation and are hopeful to return to Africa as soon as it is safe to do so. We are eager to be back on the ground with our kids, and begin construction on the perimeter wall.
Please keep our orphans, students, and staff in your prayers for continued health and protection.
